VBA - VisualBoy Advance is by far the best and most popular GBA emulator. And in fact it does much more than only GB Advance emulation. With it you can play GB and GBC roms as wel as games made for GB Pocket, Super GB and all the games compatibl with GBASP. Quik guide to GBA Emulator - VisualBoyAdvance After downloading the emulator unzip it to any folder on your PC/Mac. Run Emulator by double clicking on the VisualBoy Advance.exe To play the rom you have to Drag-and-rop the rom file on to the VBA vindow or click on File -> Open -> Select ROM -> and there you can browse your disc and select gba rom to emulate.

The thing that Visual Boy Advance doesn't support is GBA MultiPlayer Link cable emulation so there is no way to play multipleayer gameboy games with this emulator. For linking GBA roms use No$GBA emulator.

No$GBA is currenty the only Gameboy Advance emulator that can emulate multiple gameboys at the same time and link them for multiplayer gameplay. This will let you trade Pokemons on emulator and play all the GB Multiplayer games. Note that No$GBA does NOT support ZIP files so you have to unzip roms before you play.

Here is a short tutorial on how to link 2 gba roms in emulator and emulate GBA Link Cable:

• run No$GBA.exe
• pick a GBA image (no ZIP - unzip the rom)
• go to "Options" / "Emulation setup"
• increase the number of "Emulated Gameboys"
• in "Link Gamepaks", set "Gamepaks in all GBA"
• in "Reset/Startup Entrypoint", set "GBA BIOS (Nintendo logo)"
• put the GBA BIOS file in the emulator's folder, and rename it to "gba.rom"
• click OK, you should then see 2 GBA screens side by side
• right click on the left window, click on "Link" so that the window comes back to normal.
• then redo the right-click and click "Link" , and here we go, the 2nd gameboy boots!
• Also check that you have the right version of the GBA BIOS (there are 2 different dumps).

To define emulator keys go to Options -> Emulator Setup -> Controls
Set / define the key controles so that 2 players can easyly access all of the buttons.
